Julia Stiles will play a stalked woman who falls for her stalker in Cry of the Owl, based on the 1962 novel by Patricia Highsmith.

Paddy Cosidine will play the stalker, while Scott Speedman will play Stile’s jilted ex-boyfriend.

Principal production on the Jamie Thraves film is set to begin later this month in Toronto.
